Wild & Wise Virtual Internship Program

December 17th 2021

CICASP's Wild & Wise Virtual Internship Program

To circumvent COVID-19 restrictions, CICASP is launching a virtual internship as part of Kyoto University's Wild & Wise scheme.

The Primate Research Institute (PRI)  and Wildlife Research Center (WRC)  of Kyoto University will offer a virtual internship program this year, in response to international travel restrictions under the COVID-19 pandemic. This 7-day program is designed to introduce: (1) the range of research being conducted at PRI and WRC; (2) the graduate-level International Course in Primatology and Wildlife Science  (MSc/DSc program); and (3) what it is like to be a graduate student at PRI or WRC, including life in Inuyama/Kyoto, to a global audience of people who are interested in applying for our international graduate program in the near future. Several of our faculty members and graduate students will join this program to share their perspectives and answer questions from the virtual interns. The entire program will be conducted in English, and will take place on Zoom.

Visit the event website for more information and to apply online for the program.
